Feedback for The British School of Millinery
The following testimonials are just a selection of the excellent feedback we have received over the years.
"You have a special way of bringing out the best in all your students. Thanks for bringing out the best in me."
"Thank you so much for sharing so much of your knowledge with me. My hats will never be the same again and I am so excited about it. My enthusiasm knows no bounds!"
"Excellent – the tutor’s enthusiasm kept me constantly interested and keen to learn more."
Fascinating tea parties
"It was a fantastic day, I really enjoyed myself. A real sense of achievement."
"It was really fascinating and clever how all of the different pieces came together to make the fascinator. It’s nice that Denise talks about things she’s done in the past as well as what’s currently happening in the world of fashion."
Denise Innes Bespoke Millinery
"Thank you for all your hard work and efforts leading up to the ‘big day’. The hats looked really wonderful and the bridesmaids loved wearing them. Thank you so much Denise."
"Thank you for everything. The veil was beautiful and the tiara was perfect. It was a truly special day."
Costume design for Television and Theatre
"Thank you for all the marvels which thrilled me so much. I hope this gift will compensate a little for the state of certain hats which had a very hard time on the film set. Thank you a thousand times for the hats that made a costume designer very happy and perhaps thousands of prospective viewers very happy."
Over the years, the British School of Millinery has provided millinery tuition to hundreds of people, from introductory courses through to professional masterclasses. The above gallery shows a selection of our former students' work, including a City and Guilds 7820 gold medal winner for millinery excellence.
We are here to encourage and support you to develop skills to create whatever kinds of head adornment you fancy. Your imagination is your only limitation.
Some of our former students are now successful milliners in their own right:
