WE'VE MOVED TO LIVERPOOL!
The British School of Millinery is managed by creative director and talented milliner Denise Innes-Spencer.
After a few months delay, we have finally completed our move from Cheltenham and would like to thank all students who worked with us in the Cotswolds for making it a fantastic seven years. Liverpool's only a few hours away so don't be a stranger.
Due to the delays in moving, we are only currently able to run 1-2-1 sessions from our new venue at the moment. If you are part of a group of students, we are happy to come to you (health and safety etc. permitting). Please contact Denise for further information.
We are also offering new online courses via webcam through Skype. Please see our courses for further information.
We limit the numbers of students for all courses so you can expect individual support and you will receive clear step-by-step instructions for you to take away.
Denise Innes-Spencer's book on Tiara Headdresses was published in June 2017. This book takes you from the question of which wires to use all the way to constructing bases and advanced decorative techniques. With detailed, illustrated instructions on many different projects, you'll learn to use wires, knitted wires, beads, diamante and more. It is perfect for budding milliners, crafters, jewellers and brides-to-be.
Denise is an engaging speaker and lecturer who is available for talks, presentations, masterclasses and lectures to a wide range of audiences. Denise is also available to make hats for film, television and theatre.
A selection of tiaras from Denise Innes-Spencer's collection are also available for sale.
All pictures on this site are of millinery pieces made either by Denise or former students of The British School of Millinery.
