The British School of Millinery was first set up by creative director Denise Innes in 1996 in north London. The business thrived through a mixture of courses, production of one-off creations and media coverage and soon developed a reputation of millinery excellence.
Following periods of childbirth, school teaching and college lecturing Denise relocated the British School of Millinery to the Cotswolds where we ran courses for seven years. We have now relocated to Liverpool and looking to turn the Northern Powerhouse into a fabulous powerhouse.
We are currently offering one to one sessions so you can receive personal tuition on millinery skills of your choosing. Watch the website for lots of exciting new developments as we increase the range of courses available (suitable for all levels, from beginner to expert) over the coming months. As ever, we are on the cutting edge of millinery tuition and all the hat making courses will benefit students and businesses and those who just want to have fun. We are committed to teaching in small classes and helping you develop new skills and creations.
If you are a former student of the school, we’d be delighted to hear from you. Our details can be found in the contact section of the site.
