The British School of Millinery is located in St Helens, Merseyside - easily reached from Liverpoool, Manchester and anywhere else via the M6, M62 and fantastic rail network.
The school was set up by creative director Denise Innes in 1996 in north London where it thrived through a mixture of courses, production of one-off creations and media coverage, quickly developing a reputation of millinery excellence. Following periods of childbirth, school teaching and college lecturing Denise relocated the British School of Millinery to Cheltenham in the Cotswolds where we ran successful courses for seven years. We have now relocated to Merseyside and looking forward to making new creations with new friends.
Watch the website for lots of exciting new developments as we increase the range of courses available (suitable for all levels, from beginner to expert) over the coming months. As ever, we are on the cutting edge of millinery tuition and all the hat making courses will benefit students and businesses and those who just want to have fun. We are committed to teaching in small classes to help our students to develop new skills and creations with as much support as we can offer.
If you are a former student of the school, we’d be delighted to hear from you. Our details can be found in the contact section of the site.
